Quick Review Of Maybelline 24hr Tattoo Eyeshadow

 

 Hi guys sorry for the late post been busy with college and been super busy with revision.Also trying to get my deadlines of coursework completed.

So I am going to review the Maybelline 24hr tattoo eyeshadow I purchased the Eternal gold colour and the turquoise forever. I really love my neutral colours but also being a big fan of the turquoise blues I purchased that.
I personally would recommend this for club night makeup as it makes you glow in the dark.

 

I wasn’t that pleased with the purchase this is because the creamy eyeshadow didn’t apply well with the eyeshadow brush. But it works and blends well with your fingers one thing I noticed about this eyeshadow is that it creases up in the crease line. It didn’t look too good but the 24hour tattoo eyeshadow certainly does last forever its hard to remove with makeup wipes. I had to scrub mine off with soap and water then with makeup remover.

 

I would definitely recommend this product but wouldn’t repurchase it again myself. :/

I love trying out new products. But this one is probably the worst I have purchased. This Loreal Morphose Souffle Foundation made me break out.. Its coverage is medium but the foundation doesn't seem to last long. Whereas my Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse seems to last a lot longer and reacts much better with my skin.

The only reason I don't own Loreal makeup as much is because my skin reacts differently to it. But I do have some Loreal lipsticks and lipglosses.

The packaging it’s in a petite packed small glass pot which has a pink lid. The product name is on the bottom. It has a pink plastic protective insert to keep the product from drying out. The thing is you have to constantly rub in this product to get it to look flawless I used my beauty blender. Whereas maybelline dream matte mousse you put it on gives you amazing coverage. I wouldn't personally repurchase this product due to it not living up to its 12 hours of stay on the face. My foundation I put it on properly with moisturising, priming my skin, and then applying the matte foundation the last touch then was finishing powder. So no I wouldn't repurchase this. This will be one of those products that will go sit in the back of my makeup DRAWER.

Overall I didn't like this I don't think I'd ever use it again. Because it clumped around blemishes which it shouldn't have done because I used my primer, moistureriser.

I give it a 5/5 for the packaging which I thought was cute+nice.

1.     Don’t Touch Your FACE You CARRY APPROX 50,000 bacteria per square inch. This is not good for your face that’s why people break out.

2.     Do not sleep with greasy hair or have greasy hair like when you sleep on the pillow it collects grease molecules and goes on to your face making it to break out and get more spots with your acne.

3.     Never share your face towel with anyone bacteria and germs spread.

4.     Don’t exfoliate every day because you can be damaging your skin.

5.     Oily foods is a big NO

6.     Don’t pay loads of money of microdermbrasion chemical peels galvanic facials what so ever it doesn’t help they come back 10 times worse.

 

WHAT TO DO

1.     Only exfoliate maximum twice a week exfoliating get rid of the skin of dead cells, but it can also take the top layer of the epidermis off.

2.     Wash your hair when greasy.

3.     Wash your hands then touch your face.

4.     Use a cleanser and toner.

5.     Go to Doctors to get a gel called DUAC Works wonders

6.     Be confident and don’t let people put your down on your acne have positive attitude towards it.

 

I have been for a chemical peel and every other facial brought so many products but nothing has worked like this gel called DUAC. If you explain to your doctor that you don’t want the antibiotics they give and ask for this DUAC gel it will get rid of the scarring on your face and will get rid of the spots you will be looking completely flawless.

No worries no stress also bare in mind it’s what you eat too that triggers acne so keep a balanced healthy diet and keep fit, flush the toxins out of your body with water.

 

Use this duac everyday i used it on a night doctors will tell you how to direct it too and im telling you nothing works other than this.

Do not waste your money on products that wouldnt work DOCTORS Its FOR FREE And this is part of my makeup regime love it to bits this.

When I purchased my Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation I couldn’t apply this foundation properly with the Flat Top Foundation brush or the Normal Foundation brush my foundation would always come out very streaky. So I went back to the Estee Lauder Counter asking the lady about how to apply it properly she didn’t help at all. So I tried using my fingers as that is a good method for good coverage that still didn’t give me a natural flawless finish either.

 

So I saw a beauty blender on QVC beauty channel and thought wow it looks amazing

, I waited a month or two before purchasing did research about it now I have had this product for a year now and I think it’s the best. Its shaped in a little egg it comes in various colours mine is a pink egg. It changed my strong minded view on the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation the BEAUTY BLENDER is a high quality product. It’s an amazing applicator to help apply foundation if you don’t want your skin to be looking streaked then the beauty blender is a product for you.

 

It isn’t hard to clean the product the way I clean my beauty blender is I use Baby Shampoo by Johnsons soak it for 10 mins with that in a little bowl with Luke Warm Water.

 

The beauty blender is very hard to get in the UK but you can purchase this product from abroad countries. Via Amazon and Ebay I purchased mine from Amazon.

This foundation is one of the good selling foundations in Boots by the number 7 range. If you go into the drugstore Boots they are very friendly to get the correct colour match of your skin. Called the match made service it is amazing they scan a bit of your skin to see your colour. The options of 2 colours will come up one pinkie rose colour or one tanned colour. Loads of colours to choose from, the foundation glides on the face smoothly with or without a primer. It doesn’t dry quickly like the ‘Estee Lauder Double Wear’ this foundation is very long lasting.

I found with my Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation it started turning my skin gray throughout the day up to 16 hours. Once the Number 7 Stay Perfect Liquid Foundation is put on its heat proof, doesn’t budge, water-resistant gives a flawless sheer look to your skin.

This is the concealer i use to hide my pimples it is amazing it seems lighter than what it should be
but its not it adapts to the skin colour definitley would reccomend this product too.
This is perfect for highlighting and contouring

 

I would definitely repurchase this product it has worked for me worth the money. Also really happy with the content bottle, I would definitely recommend to anyone all types of skin and it’s a great foundation to cover acne scars or little pimples.

MUA UNDRESS ME TOO EYE PALETTE

MUA makeup is totally amazing cheap and really affordable for anyone you can purchase it from superdrug.

This MUA undressed eye palette varies with shimmer, mattes and nude colours for an everyday look, party, prom or an elegant neutral engagement LOOK. I cannot compare this palette with any of the urban decay palettes this is because i do not own an urban decay palette. I picked this product up for £3 the colours i was most attracted to was ‘firey’ ‘devotion’and ‘tranquil’.

The pigmentation in the eye shadows

Some of the colours in this palette didn’t have a really good pigment in mainly the colour ‘Naked’ ‘Shy’ and ‘Lavish’. I had to swirl my eye shadow brush in them colour a couple of times but the swatch test it came out very evenly and nicely. The other colours which had more shimmer to them had a lot more pigment in you can tell this as you pick it up for a swatch test it doesn’t feel chalky, where as the colour ‘Naked’ ‘Shy’ and ‘Lavish’ seemed a little chalky. The matte colours are not pigmented at all.

My thoughts

The palettes has a great selection of colours to make a natural glowing eye look also a smokey eye look can be created from this product. These eye shadows should be worn with an eyeshade primer this is because it will not come off and wouldn’t fade without the eye shadow primer your eye shadow will start collapsing and slide off through the day this wouldn’t look good.

I probably would repurchase this product it has done me very well I am happy with a bargain purchase at £3 it is really cheap affordable. I am a huge fan of the MUA products I will be reviewing their MUA Primer, MUA Pressed Powder and 2 of my FAVOURITE MUA Lipsticks.
